Hi, my name is Witse Beyers, and I’m 23 years old. I live in Puurs and studied Product Design & Development at the University of Antwerp. Within the product development field, I am mostly interested in the strategic part of design and design thinking. I am a designer who lives and strives for structure and simplicity. In chaotic situations, I will always look for structure and peace first. This is also why the design thinking process and tools like system and context maps trigger me. They provide a very clear and concrete overview of the matter in order to expose problems and opportunities. The same simplicity can also be found in my design esthetic. Eccentric or artistic elements and not easily returned. It is rather exceptional for me to use eccentric and/or artistic elements. If possible, 'less' is always 'more' for me. One of the reasons why I also have a preference for Scandinavian design.
